Where is Nics and Cuts located?

Nics and Cuts operates at two Seattle locations:

Capitol Hill: Mosaic Salon, Suite 206, 401 Broadway E #101(Monday, Friday, Sunday: 11 AM – 6 PM)
Columbia City: Hatch Hair & Company, 4527 Rainier Ave S(Tuesday and Saturday: 11 AM – 6 PM; haircuts only)

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes. All services are by appointment only and must be booked in advance. You can reserve a time online through the booking portal.

What services do you offer?

Nics and Cuts offers inclusive, identity-affirming services for all hair types, including:

What’s your cancellation policy?

Appointments canceled within 24 hours of your scheduled time will be charged a 100% cancellation fee. We do this to respect the time and preparation that goes into every appointment.

What if I’m not sure what service I need?

If you aren't sure what you need, just book a consultation! We’ll talk through your hair goals, texture, past services, and what you’re hoping to achieve. From there, we’ll recommend the best path forward.

Do you work with all hair types and textures?

Absolutely. Nic has advanced training in cutting, styling, and caring for curly and textured hair. Everyone deserves a haircut that makes them feel confident and seen.

Do you offer gender-neutral pricing?

Yes. All pricing at Nics and Cuts is based on service and time, not gender.

Do you offer beard trims or fringe touch-ups?

Yes! Fringe (bangs) and beard shaping are included in standard haircut appointments when requested.

I’m new to hair systems. What’s the hair grafting process like?

Our N.S.G. (Non-Surgical Grafting) services begin with a consultation where we assess your needs, discuss style options, select the right system, and map for precise fitting. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of the process, quote, and next steps.

Do you style hair for weddings or events?

Yes! Nic offers styling for special occasions. Book a styling consultation so we can plan your perfect look in advance.

Can I bring reference photos?

Yes, please do! Bringing inspiration pictures helps us get aligned on your goals for style, texture, or color.
